Halloween at Arizona Gastroenterology was a treat, and our Tucson team showed up in full costume. From Wednesday Addams at the front desk to an entire deck of playing cards posing in the hallway, our doctors and staff turned an ordinary workday into a Halloween photo shoot.
We’ve cared for Tucson families for more than 45 years, and one thing hasn’t changed: we genuinely like working together. Scroll down for the full lineup, a few group costume ideas you can borrow for next year, and a friendly reminder that spooky season is a great time to schedule that screening.
Pick a card, any card
Five of our team members teamed up as a full hand of playing cards: the Queens of Hearts, Diamonds, Spades and Clubs, with a Joker as the wild card. It’s an easy group costume for work. All it takes is a white long-sleeve tee with a suit on the front, a red or black tutu, striped knee socks and sneakers. On a computer, hover over a card to pull it from the deck.

The Addams Family clocks in

Thing 1, Thing 2 and the Cat in the Hat
A trio is a great costume for a small team. Red tops, blue tutus and bright blue hair pieces make the Things, and a black outfit, red bow tie and striped hat complete the Cat. They also had the treat table covered.

Don’t ghost your gut health this spooky season
Costumes are fun, but the heart of what we do doesn’t change after Halloween. A screening colonoscopy can find and remove precancerous polyps before they turn into something serious, and current guidelines recommend that most average-risk adults begin screening at age 45.
Wondering if you’re due? Read why early screening helps prevent colorectal cancer, or see how to prepare for a screening colonoscopy. Our Tucson gastroenterologists and care team are happy to help you figure out what’s right for you.
