Dr. Larissa Allen is a board-certified gastroenterologist who joined Arizona Gastroenterology in 2017. Her areas of interest are gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), esophageal motility disorders and colorectal cancer prevention.
Raised in Tucson, Dr. Allen graduated cum laude from Illinois State University, where she also played four years of collegiate tennis. She returned to Tucson for medical school, graduating in 2008, and completed her internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Arizona College of Medicine. She is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology.
Dr. Allen enjoys time with her husband and three children, live music and performances, and snow skiing.
